How to export data to BAS

At the end of the month the accountant needs sales, payments, supplies and write-offs. In Goovii you do not move them by hand: one button builds an Excel file for import into BAS.

How to build the file

  1. In the dashboard, open Export to BAS.
  2. Choose the period — for example, last month.
  3. Click Download Excel.
  4. Check how many rows went into the file — a quick check that the period is right.
  5. Give the file to your accountant.

What goes into the file

  • Daily sales with VAT — revenue for each day.
  • Payments — split by payment method.
  • Refunds — what was refunded to guests and for how much.
  • Income — supplies from suppliers.
  • Write-offs — everything written off from the warehouse.
  • Item catalogue — the list of products and ingredients.

How to import into BAS

In BAS the accountant opens Import from a spreadsheet document and selects the file.

Why the numbers match

The numbers in the file are the same as on the dashboard screens: in payment statistics, financial accounting and warehouse reports — there is one source. For a chain, each location is exported separately. More on the Export to BAS page.
