Your register keeps going when the internet drops
Blackouts, unstable mobile internet, a router rebooting in the middle of lunch rush — for a venue, every minute the register is down means a queue and lost money. The Goovii register is built for times without a connection: sales continue, and everything accumulated is sent once the network returns.
What works without a network
- Sales and receipt printing. Waiters and cashiers take orders and settle guests as usual.
- Changes to an open receipt. You can add or remove an item, a guest or a modifier even without internet: each change is queued on the register.
- PIN login. Staff with register access log in with their PIN even without a network.
- PRRO. The built-in PRRO switches to the offline mode provided by the DPS.
When the connection returns
The queue is sent to the server in order, in the same sequence the operations were made on the register. If the router works but the server is briefly unavailable, the register doesn't wait for a network signal — it retries on its own once a minute. A resent operation is never duplicated: the server recognizes it and doesn't count it twice.
PRRO without internet — by DPS rules
The tax authority allows software cash registers to work offline for a limited time: up to 36 hours per offline session and up to 168 hours per calendar month. Receipts created offline are sent to the DPS as soon as the connection is restored. So even a long blackout doesn't force you to stop fiscalization.
How to prepare your venue for outages
- Keep the router and receipt printer on an uninterruptible power supply — then the register prints receipts even during power outages.
- Keep waiters' tablets and phones charged — the Goovii register runs on Android, iOS, Windows and in a browser.
- After adding new staff, open the register while online: this way it receives their PIN access for offline work.
Once the queue is sent, sales appear in reports and inventory management as usual, and the POS terminal keeps running without a restart.

Can staff log in to the register without a network?
Yes. Staff with register access log in with their PIN even without internet, and sales are recorded under the person logged in.
