Reservations where your host works
A guest calls to book a table for the evening. If reservations live in a notebook and the floor plan lives in the host's head, it's easy to seat two parties at the same table or forget a booking when the room is full. In Goovii, reservations live in the same POS as your orders and are linked to the floor plan.
How a reservation is created
At the POS, the host opens "Reservations" and taps "New reservation". Then they enter the guest's name and phone number, party size, date, time and duration. Next, they pick a floor and a room, and the POS shows the tables that are free at exactly that time. You can add a note: a birthday, a high chair, a window seat.
- Double-booking protection. If a table is already reserved for that time, the POS shows who it's booked for and won't let you add a second reservation.
- No bookings in the past. You can't pick a date that has already passed.
- A table is required. A reservation can't be created without a table, so every booking shows up on the floor plan.
Statuses and guest arrival
Every reservation has a status: "Pending", "Confirmed", "Cancelled", "Completed" or "No-show". On the floor plan, a reserved table is highlighted differently for pending and confirmed bookings. When the guest arrives, the host marks them with the "Check in" button.
Reservation list and back office
At the POS, reservations can be filtered by status and date, so each shift starts with an overview: how many guests to expect and at which tables. In the back office, the owner sees a searchable list of all reservations, and the AI assistant answers questions like "what reservations do we have today?".
A floor plan that fits your venue
Floors, rooms and tables are set up once in the back office — and then work the same way for both orders and reservations. Step-by-step instructions are available in the knowledge base.

Frequently Asked Questions
Where are reservations created in Goovii?
At the POS, in the "Reservations" section. The host enters the guest's name and phone number, party size, date, time and duration, then picks a free table on the floor plan.
Can a table be accidentally booked twice?
No. If a table is already reserved for that time, the POS shows who it's booked for and won't create a second reservation.
What statuses can a reservation have?
"Pending", "Confirmed", "Cancelled", "Completed" and "No-show". When the guest arrives, they're marked with the "Check in" button.
Are reservations visible on the floor plan?
Yes. Reserved tables are highlighted on the venue's floor plan, differently for pending and confirmed bookings.
What hardware does the Goovii POS run on?
The POS runs on Android tablets and smartphones, Windows computers and iOS. You can connect receipt printers via Wi-Fi and Bluetooth, as well as bank card terminals. The number of POS stations is unlimited and doesn't affect the price.
Can I try Goovii for free?
Yes, the first 15 days are free, with no card required. During that time you can set up your menu, connect the POS and make your first sales, then choose a plan afterwards.
