Know tomorrow in advance
How many guests will come on Friday evening? How much milk should you order for the weekend? How many staff should be on shift on Monday? These questions usually get answered by gut feeling. Goovii builds a forecast from your own sales history, so your purchasing and schedules are based on numbers.
How the forecast is calculated
The forecast is based on the same days of the week in the past — up to eight weeks back — adjusted for your venue's overall trend. In other words, the forecast for Friday relies on your past Fridays. At least two weeks of sales are needed for the calculation, and next to the forecast you can see how many days were included and how accurate the forecast is.
Revenue and receipts
- Today — expected revenue and number of receipts, how much you already have, and whether the day is running above or below normal.
- 7-day forecast — as a chart or table, alongside actual figures.
- Week and month — what to expect compared to last week and last month.
- Receipts by hour — the average number of receipts per hour to help you plan a shift.
Product demand
For each product, you can see how much is expected to sell and how much usually sells on that day. This helps you decide how much to prep in the morning and what will run out before evening.
What to reorder
Choose how many days you're buying for — Goovii calculates each ingredient's daily usage, how long the remaining stock will last and how much you need to buy, along with the total cost. Items are grouped by the supplier of the latest delivery, and the order can be copied as text. Usage is calculated from recipe cards, so it's worth filling them in.
Supplier orders
The "Supplier orders" section collects items that have dropped below their threshold, grouped by supplier. You can adjust quantities, copy the order text and send it via a messenger, and mark the order as sent, received or cancelled. This way you can see what has already been ordered and what's still on its way.
