🔄 “Change Table” Function
In restaurant operations, situations often occur where guests move from one table to another — due to a larger group, a request to sit by the window, or other reasons.
To keep records accurate, it is necessary to register the table change in the POS terminal. If this is not done, errors may occur in reports, hall occupancy, and reservations.
📌 When to use the “Change Table” function
- Guests moved to another table
- Groups merged with another table
- A receipt needs to be moved to a different table
- An error occurred when opening a receipt
📝 How to change a table in the POS terminal
- Open the receipt that needs to be moved.
- In the top right corner, next to the receipt number, click the three dots (⋮).
- From the menu, select “Change table”.
- Select the new table where the guests have moved.
After this, the receipt will be automatically linked to the new table.
⚠️ Important
- The order history is fully preserved.
- All items remain in the same receipt.
- Reports and statistics will display the correct table.
- The floor plan updates accordingly.
⚠️ Always register guest movements in the system. This ensures correct financial accounting and up-to-date information about table occupancy.
