📖 How to work with reservations?

After creating a reservation, it is important to manage it correctly during guest arrival, service, and the end of the visit. This section covers the full reservation workflow in Goovii POS.


1️⃣ Guest check-in

After creating a reservation, it can be found:

  • In the “Reservations” section
  • Or in the “Tables” section by selecting a specific table

When the guest arrives:

  1. Open the corresponding reservation.
  2. Click to register guest check-in.
  3. After that, a check linked to the table will automatically open.

You add items to the check the same way as during regular service.


2️⃣ Working with the check during the reservation

While guests are present, you can:

  • Add items to the check
  • Edit orders
  • View active checks by table

When guests ask for the bill:

  1. Find the corresponding check for the table.
  2. Process the payment.

3️⃣ Viewing reservation details

By clicking on a reservation:

  • In the “Reservations” section
  • Or through the “Tables” section

You can view details:

  • Customer name
  • Phone number
  • Date and time
  • Number of guests
  • Notes

This allows you to quickly access information without searching manually.


4️⃣ Canceling a reservation

If guests:

  • Do not show up
  • Cancel their visit
  • Change plans

You can cancel the reservation in the “Reservations” section.


⚠️ Important note

Closing the check does not automatically end the reservation.

Guests may:

  • Pay earlier but stay at the table
  • Order additional items after payment

Therefore, even if the check is closed — the table may still remain reserved.

To fully complete the reservation:

Go to the “Reservations” section and manually cancel or complete the reservation.

Only then will the table become available for new guests or a new reservation.
