🏢 Creating a Floor Plan and Tables in Goovii POS

This guide will help you create your venue layout, room structure, and tables in the Goovii system, and prepare them for reservations and order management. The process is divided into several steps for clarity and convenience.

⚠️ Important information before creating tables

Before adding tables, it is important to know that table numbering in the system does not depend on the table name. For example:

  • Table #1 in the system is the first created table, even if you name it “Table #9”.
  • Table #2 is the second created table, and so on.

This is critical for:

  • Generating individual QR codes for each table;
  • Correct table reservations and order creation;
  • Avoiding confusion between table names and creation order.

⚠️ Remember: the creation order defines the internal system ID, not the table name.

📌 Step 1. Creating floors

  1. Go to the admin panel.
  2. Open Venue Plan → Floors and Rooms.
  3. Click “Add Floor” in the top right corner.
  4. Fill in:
    • Floor name – e.g. “First Floor”.
    • Floor number – order number.
  5. Click “Save” or “Add”.

📌 Step 2. Creating a room

  1. Select the required floor.
  2. Click the arrow on the right.
  3. Choose “Add Room”.
  4. Enter a room name, e.g. “Main Hall”.
  5. Click “Add”.

📌 Step 3. Creating tables

Tables are a key element of the venue layout because they are used for:

  • Customer reservations;
  • Order creation;
  • Hall occupancy tracking;
  • Integration with QR menu and other POS features.

Step-by-step guide:

  1. Go to Admin Panel → Venue Plan → Tables.
  2. Select floor and room on the left side.
  3. To create or edit tables, click the lock icon in the center.

Table types:

  • Square table – standard layout.
  • Round table – visual difference only.
  • Bar – orders can be created but reservations are not allowed.

Table setup:

  1. Select a table type and click it.
  2. Fill in:
    • Table name
    • Number of seats
  3. Drag the table to the desired position.
  4. Add visual elements if needed.

Click “Save” to apply changes.
