🗂 Creating Financial Categories

Creating expense categories is required before performing financial operations.

Without created categories, the system will not allow transactions (expense, income, or transfer) to be processed.

📍 Where to create a category?

  1. Go to the Admin panel
  2. Open Finance → Categories
  3. Click “New category”

📝 What data needs to be filled in?

  • Category name
    For example: Suppliers, Rent, Salary, Marketing, etc.
  • Category type
    Choose one of the options:
    • Income — for recording incoming funds
    • Expense — for writing off funds
    • Transfer — for internal transfers between accounts
  • Show in cash register (Yes / No)
    Determines whether the category is available for selection when processing transactions in the POS.
  • Include in statistics (Yes / No)
    Determines whether this category is included in financial analytics and reports.
  • Comment (optional)
    Additional information or clarification about the category.

✅ Completion

After filling in all required fields, click “Add”.

The category will be created and available for use in financial operations.

  • Financial operations cannot be performed without categories
  • The correct category type affects reporting
  • It is recommended to set up the category structure in advance for better analytics
