Role and Access Permission Setup in Goovii
Roles and access permissions are one of the key security features in the Goovii POS system. They allow you to clearly separate employee access to cash register functions, reports, and the back office, reducing the risk of errors and misuse.
How to set up access roles
- Go to “Staff → Roles”.
- Create new roles according to the positions in your venue.
Role examples

Cashier
Access only to the POS terminal application. -
Administrator
Access to the cash register, financial reports, and back-office settings. -
Accountant
Access only to financial and analytical reports.
- For each role, tick the allowed actions, for example:
- cashiers are not allowed to process refunds without an administrator password;
- restricted access to finances and settings.
- Assign the created roles to each employee.
