How to Connect a Bluetooth Printer to Goovii POS

Connecting a Bluetooth printer to Goovii POS allows automatic printing of receipts, kitchen tickets, and bar orders, as well as distributing printing across different production stations.

Step 1. Connecting the printer via Bluetooth

Before configuring the system, you must connect the printer to your tablet.

What to do:

  1. Turn on the Bluetooth printer.
  2. On the tablet, open Settings → Bluetooth.
  3. Find your printer in the list of available devices (it may include the model name or the word Printer).
  4. Tap it to connect.
  5. If needed, enter the password:
    • Usually 0000 or 1234

After connection, the printer will appear in the list of paired devices.

Important: if the printer is not visible, check whether it is turned on and not connected to another device.

Step 2. Adding the printer in Goovii POS

  1. Open the tablet with Goovii POS installed.
  2. Go to the Control Panel.
  3. Open the Printers section.
  4. The Bluetooth-connected printer will appear in the list.
  5. Tap it to configure.

Working with multiple printers

  • 1 printer — can be used for both receipts and production stations
  • 2–3 printers — receipt + kitchen + bar
  • 5 or more printers — separate for each station

The number of printers is not limited.

Printer setup in the “Printers” section

Where to find settings:

  1. Open Goovii POS.
  2. Go to the Control Panel.
  3. Select the Printers section.
  4. Tap the required printer.

Select paper width

Select the paper width according to your printer type and installed roll.

What the printer can print

1. Receipt printing

Select “Receipt” if the printer is used to print customer receipts.

Such printers are usually located:

  • at the cashier
  • with the administrator
  • in the order pickup area

After closing an order, the receipt is automatically printed on this printer.

2. Station printing

Select “Stations” if the printer is used for kitchen or bar tickets.

You can assign one or multiple stations:

  • bar
  • kitchen
  • pastry station
  • other created stations

The system automatically prints items depending on their assigned station.

Example:

  • cocktails → printed on bar printer
  • dishes → printed on kitchen printer
  • desserts → printed on pastry printer

Test print

The “Test Print” function is available in settings.

It is recommended to run a test after setup to verify:

  • correct connection
  • no printing errors

If the test page prints successfully — the printer is ready to use.

If the printer does not print

Check:

  • is the printer turned on
  • is Bluetooth connection active
  • is the device visible in the paired list
  • is paper loaded

In most cases, the issue is caused by a missing connection or a powered-off device.

Benefits of correct setup

  • automatic order distribution to stations
  • faster customer service
  • reduced staff errors
  • receipt printing control
  • scalability for any business format
